This was our third stay at the Rocky Top Hideaway and won’t be our last! Each time we are blown away by the surrounding beauty and Mig’s hospitality. You can’t go wrong with a getaway here – from the goats to the amenities to the nearby attractions!

Me and my husband were celebrating our Anniversary, Mig and Steve’s place is exactly what we were looking for. On arrival we were greeted by Mig and Steve, who gave us food places and things to check out nearby. The Cabin was private, clean and attention to detail exceeds expectations. The outdoor shower was a hit as well as the 3 goats with bells that Greet you. The view was Beautiful day and night. We will definitely be returning in the future.

What a special find! Fantastic setting, well thought out, comfortable cabin with wonderful views from the screened in porch and glider. Loved the outdoor shower, too, and of course the friendly, adorable goats. Bring a box of Triscuits and they will be your best friends forever, just don’t let Howie eat them all! An easy walk to town, the beaches, the ferry, and the Whale’s Tooth. We visited Belfast – walked the bike trail and had lunch at Marshall Wharf Brewing -Camden, Rockland and Rockport, but we were always glad to come home and just sit on the porch and relax. The view of Penobscot Bay from Bald Rock is astounding, well worth the hike. But best was getting to know Mig and Steve. We’ll be back!

I can’t say enough about this beautiful, cozy and pristine cottage! From start to finish, this place was perfect for my husband and I to get away for a peaceful and restorative retreat after the death of my mom. Mig was so thoughtful and so compassionate and the best host I’ve ever had the absolute pleasure to meet. The goats were the most lovable little additions to the place and just what I needed in my time of need. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept so well in the quiet of the location. Don’t even hesitate to book this place, you will love every single moment here and will want to come back over and over again. We will be back here for sure next year! Thanks again for everything Mig and Steve!

This was one of my favorite stays through Airbnb! The view was amazing! The size and was perfect. The privacy allowed morning coffee on the porch in your PJs. We watched the sunrise every morning and fed the goats. 🙂
