Feel the magic in this quiet secluded hillside retreat. Awaken your senses with the smell of the salt air, pines and an occasional whiff of coffee beans roasting all while watching the ferry go back and forth to Ilesboro. Early risers will enjoy spectacular sunrises. Experience nature without being too far off the beaten path. A private half mile walk down the driveway will end at brick sidewalks leading you to Lincolnville Beach, one of Maine’s stretches of sandy shoreline.

The space

Newly constructed energy efficient cottage tucked in the trees with commanding views to the east and Acadia. With our 3 friendly goats in the foreground you may see a schooner, barge or ferry gliding by as you sip your tea or coffee. Kitchen is equipped with an under cabinet frig, coffee pot, toaster oven, plug in burner, blender and all dishes and utensils needed for basic food prep. Outdoor grill available during warmer months. Spacious bathroom with heated tile floors,and seasonal private outdoor shower. Comfortable king bed with cozy linens and electric fireplace will invite you for a peaceful slumber. Wifi and T.V included.

Guest access

The cottage is totally private with parking on site. EV charging station close by for those who need it. Owners house is a short walking distant up the hill and they will be available most of the time.

Other things to note

Good footwear advised, binoculars a good idea and early summer especially… bug spray.
